Question: How else can I get my family to stop giving my baby big people food?
My daughter is 7 1/2 months old and my family is ALWAYS trying to sneak “big people food” to her. Like choc. cheesecake, candy, fries, and all kinds of stuff. My problem is…I don’t mind her trying stuff…but she is already allergic to…oatmeal, amoxicillen, Pertussin, and stuff with orange in it and some of the baby formulas. So I don’t want them to sneak her something, me not know about it and her get a rash or have troubles breathing, and me not know what it’s from.
I’ve tried telling them all this. And they just keep sneaking her stuff.
**I’ve already had her to the ER once, and Stat care once! and to the dr’s..I don’t know HOW many times..**
I never leave her alone with them. It’s while I’m using the restroom, or making a bottle or something like that.

Tell them NO. Tell them that she has food and other allergies, and that you’re going to have to be strict on this one. Tell them that if you can’t trust them to obey this, they will not be allowed to be alone with her.
Question: Stop shopping at “pets smart” ~EURGNE~?
PLEASE CLICK THE LINK TO HELP OTHER ANIMALS LIKE ANGEL:

When a PETA investigator worked undercover at Rainbow World Exotics (RWE), an animal-breeding mill in Texas that supplies birds and small mammals to national chains like PetSmart and PETCO, she met a juvenile Goffin’s cockatoo whom she dubbed “Angel.” This little white bird was lethargic and appeared ill but was very vocal about RWE’s neglect. Angel screamed and screamed all alone from inside a cage—for food, for attention, for anyone to come and help.
For the six weeks that the investigator saw Angel waste away, the baby bird was never treated by a veterinarian. This neglect was dangerous, not just to Angel’s health, but to other birds and even to workers and future bird buyers; many bird illnesses are transmissible to humans. When PETA’s investigator asked if Angel could see a vet or if she could adopt the bird herself, the owner of RWE scoffed at the idea. Workers guessed at the illness and “treated” it by shoving a syringe down Angel’s throat multiple times a day, pumping water in and out, in an amateur attempt to flush out undigested food. “Flushing” is potentially life-threatening if water is pushed into the lungs instead of the digestive tract.
Over time, the baby bird’s cries became feebler and Angel had trouble balancing and standing. At 4 months of age, Angel died, far short of the normal 40-year life span of these cockatoos. Goffin’s cockatoos should be living in flocks of up to 100 birds, flying, foraging, bonding with mates, and nesting. Cockatoos like Angel at RWE are confined to barren wire cages and are either sold to pet stores at a very young age or used as “breeding machines” until no longer profitable.
GOFFIN’S COCKATOO FACTS:
Goffin’s cockatoos are the smallest of the cockatoo family and can live to be older than 40.
In the wild, Goffin’s cockatoos remain in flocks that can include more than 100 birds.
In captivity, Goffin’s cockatoos are very active and need extended periods of time outside the cage as well as a variety of toys to prevent stress, which could lead to feather-picking and destructive behavior.
Goffin’s cockatoos love puzzle-type toys—finding hidden things, taking things apart, untying complex knots, etc. They are also known to be escape artists, and they respond well to music and love to dance.

http://www.petsmartcruelty.com/The small animals sold at PetSmart cost the multibillion-dollar company next to nothing and make up a minuscule percentage of the company’s total sales. So why does PetSmart buy them by the thousands only to leave them to die from disease and injury?
The answer is simple. Adorable hamsters are frequently bought on impulse when parents can’t resist their child’s pleading. The hamster may not cost much, but supplies add up quickly. Cages, bedding, food, and other paraphernalia amount to millions of dollars in annual profit.
PetSmart sells birds and other animals to people who often buy them on impulse and don’t have a clue about how to care for them properly. Just as there are puppy mills, there are enormous bird factories and massive animal “suppliers” vist PETSMART’S DIRTY LITTLE SECRET on youtube by

yes not only to birds, but fishes as well. I’ve seen some improvements in some, but not alot. However what I dont get is if the undercover was an animal lover, then why he didnt do anything? What the fUk? he just let the poor thing waste away like that. What he did makes him worse than fuking petsmart.
Question: How do I get my dad to stop calling me pet names, “Hunny/baby”?
It’s not that I’m embarassed, I just get mad everytime he does. He never used to and for some reason he started to call me baby or hunny.
We have a pretty isolated relationship, I don’t even think he’s capable of full on loving someone or anything besides himself. That might be why.
So how do I tell him to stop calling me them without hurting his feelings? He is trying to build our relationship better, I can tell. But the damage is already done and I don’t even like being near him.
Please don’t tell me give him a chance.
I’ve tried looking on the brighter side and tried accepting the way he is but I CANT. Everytime he calls me it Im literally screaming in my head, shut the f*ck up dirty b@stard.
I know it seems hard but It pisses me off for some reason, Im like this with no one else but him and if I could wish my hate away I would but they just wont go.
I know it may seem harsh*
. . . f*ck you blunt

You stop giving your baby baby food when he/she starts developing teeth and can munch on big people food.
Question: When should I stop giving my child formula?
My son is 7 months old and when I buy his infant formula, there is always a coupon inside for “toddler formula.” I always thought that once a baby turned one, they didn’t really need formula anymore.
Is toddler formula just an optional supplement for vitamins if you have a picky eater or something?

Question: At what age did you stop feeding your baby “baby food”?
Just curious to see what other parents do:)
My baby is 9 1/2 months old and still eating baby food. I’m planning to stop w/ baby food when he turns 1. (Of course, I will start to introduce some of the soft/appropriate table foods now)
