We have a Graco stroller (well, travel system) and I love the stroller. I use it quite often in the spring / summer / fall for walks (: Are the roads paved where you’ll be using it? If not, Id probably opt for the jogging stroller since I think the wheels are a little better made. Check ‘em out at Walmart or wherever you plan to buy it from.
Katelin made faces when she was eating baby food. Daddy checked out the food jar and found it contained 45% vitamin C, duh. Guess she doesn’t like sour.
Question: Do you think it is a sin for a man to call another man “pet names” like sweetheart, honey, baby, etc.?
I think it is really disturbing. I know the Bible prohibits sodomy between two guys and I wanted to know if there was some kind of rule about this issue.

Question: 8 month old does not like baby food!?
My daughter will be 8 months on Wednesday. We have been giving her baby food for a while now, and she is getting to the point where she just spits it back at us! we do give her bites of what we are eating (if it’s ok for her to have of course). Yesterday we were having chicken, mashed potatoes and rolls. She refused to eat her baby food, but sure did eat everything we were having. I guess my question is…is it ok to just let her eat “table food”? I understand that her formula is the main source of her nutrition, and she still gets her bottles. Just curious! Anyone else with a baby who simply disliked baby food, lol?!
Btw, she has her 2 bottom teeth, but seems to be able to gum just about everything! She also uses the pincer grasp to pick up food and put it in her mouth.

As long as you’ve done your due diligence re. food allergies, and she is getting a balanced diet, then it’s fine to feed her non-baby food. My third child came to the table by about 8-9 months. Occasionally, I would make him a baby-like version of what we would eat — eg. chicken vegetable stew cooked in a formula base
Question: I keep seeing “Knox” on “worst baby names” lists. I actually like it, do you think it’s really that bad?
Unfortunately yes, Brangelina did name one of the twins that. I was disappointed because I’ve liked that name for a very long time, and now it’s all of a sudden a “celebrity baby name.” It was the name of one of the characters in Dead Poets Society which is one of my favorite movies, and there was also a Reformationist named John Knox.

Question: Who agrees that Foodstamps and EBT should be more like WIC?
I work at a grocery store, and I see what people buy with their EBT cards (a.k.a. Foodstamps). I also see WIC come through constantly. And as a tax payer, I would like to spread the word and increase the support for WIC-like government assistance.
WIC is a program titled Women, Infants, and children. I believe it was originally made just for women, but men (being husbands/fathers) can also use it now. What it does is send money/assitance in voucher- or check-like forms, and the check lists the products that these vouchers are good for, and the user can ONLY buy these products with it.
It will say as little as “$ __ in fruit”, “$ __ in vegetables”, “4 12 oz containers of baby formula”, or it will say as much as “2 gallons of milk, 12 oz of peanut butter, 8 oz bag of beans, 1 loaf of whole wheat bread, 1 dozen eggs” and so on and so forth.
People have come up with as many as 6 of these vouchers at a time. It limits the person “in need” to buying specific items; it’s not as specific as saying “JIF peanut butter”, so no company can pay the government off to support only themselves, but it IS specific enough to prevent possible abusers from using their money to buy unnecessary things like alcohol, cigarettes, candy, chips, soda…you know…unhealthy things!
These vouchers have names printed on them and we are required to look at their IDs to accept it, so they can’t sell these vouchers to random people in exchange for cash to buy cigarettes or booze.
I think it’s a great system. If you support it, let me know…if you don’t, I’d like to know why you would be against replacing the current EBT system with a WIC-like system.
Eh, I feel that way too John, but you have to admit, the only reason we feel that way is because of the people out there who abuse the system. There are people who really need it for real reasons; like the people who had kids when they were financially stable and then lost their jobs and/or spouse and/or family. And if people are insisting on some form of assistance from government, we may as well make sure our taxes are going towards REAL assistance and not cigarettes, right?

Question: I still talk “baby talk” with my cats & they seem 2 like hearing this. Is it okay 4 me 2 still do this?
My cats like the sound I think, because if I am “baby talking” one of them, the other meows and comes to where I am. They are approximately 2 & 3 years old. Can I still talk 2 them like babies? (What I mean by baby talk is like instead of saying ” I love you!” or “I’ll give you food” I will say “Zoey loves you, little one” or “Zoey’s coming to get you food” Please answer! Sorry it’s long!

It fine – I do it with my cats all of the time, I even do it to my aunt’s 20 year old cat! They like the tone in your voice, I guess it comforts and soothes them.

If she is huge, dump truck, flabby mcgee, bulldozer, huge, and elephant. If she isn’t than how about skin n’ bones, juan, Boromere, Chewbacca, George Lucas, stop watch, paper shredder, random things anything works. I call my boyfriend Prissy Prince. I love him.
