Question: Food Food give me Food!!! lol?
I am currently pregnant with my 3rd, that’s right 3rd daughter! I know every pregnancy is differerent but this is driving me nuts! All I want to do these days is eat. Popcorn, pickles, pizza, chinese food, cookies, EVERYTHING!!! Even when I’m not hungry, and when I’m done with what i got I want more. I have turned into the total hefer!!!! I can’t stand it, I try to stop but I get the the point where I make excuses like “I’m pregnant. The baby needs this food.” But I know it’s too much. What is going on with me??? How do I stop??? If I don’t soon I’m gunna end up being 300 pounds after the birth. lol Any one else go throught his too??? Help me!!! lol
oh yeah by the way, just in case it helps, i am now 21 weeks along.

Oh, that sounds just like me! I am only in my 11th week and I want to eat all the time! I have tried to stop eating everytime I get the urge to, or I too will be 300lbs by the time this baby comes!! Candy has been my downfall lately….what a time for them to put out the Reese’s peanut butter eggs! UGH
Question: Is it time to give up baby food??
*My daughter is 8 1/2 months. She used to be eating 2 containers of food at lunch and dinner easily and has just recently started fighting after just one. I don’t push it, I figure she’s full but within an hour she’ll take down a 6 ounce bottle.
*She’s great at picking up her own food. She loves cheerios, cheese, pasta, toast w/ butter, some veggie chunks, applesauce, yogurt but that’s it. I have yet to find a fruit chunk that she likes.
*I’ve heard that between 9 and 12 months when babies perfect feeding themselves they don’t want to be fed and that’s when it’s time to stop baby food, correct? My problem is, my daughter hardly eats enough “people food” to tide her over for a meal.
Any suggestions??

too young for table food. it poses a huge choking hazard. put the baby food in a bowl and give her a spoon and let her feed her self. on jar of food and then a 6 ounce bottle is actually perfect she still needs formula no table food til after age one

Question: Can someone give me a little information about when to feed baby food?
My daughter is 5 months old and we were just given the ok from her doctor to start baby food. We tried cereal and she HATED it, so the doctor said that stage 1 baby food was fine too. We are currently giving her 1/2-1 container of veggies in the evening. I was wondering when we should include a breakfast or lunch time feeding and also when we should do 2 foods per meal (ex. veggie and fruit). Last question: when should we try the baby food “meats”? Thanks for the advice!

The baby food meat would have to wait till 6 months of age. You can mix fruit with the baby cereal for breakfast and she would like that.

I know the question sounds kinda stupid I guess but I was told my 8month old can have real food..what do you give your 8month old?

Mashed potatoes smashed carrots green beans peas anything soft or smashable No salt though soft fruits smashed up

A lot of people have many different answers to this question… “When is it a good time to give my baby cereal in his formula?” Some people say 3 months others say 4 months. I’m more or less just looking for more opinions!

NEVER.
Cereal goes in a spoon, not a bottle.
The earliest a baby should start solids is 4 months, as the absolutely EARLIEST.
We started my son at 8 months.
Children are not ready to take solids until they can eat off of a spoon.
If they cannot take it off a spoon, they are NOT ready for solids.
We do not put cereal in bottles anymore.
Our parents used to do this, we don’t do it now.
It’s a choking hazard, and a really stupid idea.
(people say “oh, put cereal in his bottle, he’ll sleep longer)
Please do not start solids until you get the OK from your ped to do so, and give them off a spoon.
ETA: Some doctors recommend putting cereal in a bottle for babies with GERD or extreme reflux. And it isn’t so that they stay full longer, it’s to aid with digestion and change their sucking and swallowing rhythym.
That is completely different than putting cereal in a bottle to feed your baby.
Question: Is it safe to give a 4 week old puppy “S-26 PDF Gold formula” for premature babies?
I heard of women breastfeeding animals so i assume the formula is safe and will make the dog grow bigger and stronger..
well hes taking canned wet food, buut i thought the formula would be a good supplement. rescued off the street 2 days ago.. not sure where the mother is but he definaty would have died had i left him out there.

no do not give your dog human formula. They need to get dog formula. It is easy to get at any pet store.
Question: Why do some people obsess about their pets and give them “baby names” or worse? Doting on the pets?
Talking about them a lot? Do you think maybe they are fulfilling a need to have children by treating their pets like children? Or they’re just thrilled to have someone love them unconditionally?

I think the pets fill a void that some people have. Pets don’t usually talk back and will love you no matter what kind of day they are having.
