Feeding a 6 month old baby !, This video is about 5 to 4 weeks into her solid foods, it is advised to start them off with ” rice cereal ” then move to oatmeal and introduce something new every 5 to 7 days monitoring for allergies, ( sweet potatoes, squash, apples, sweet peas ) If your Baby is interested in eating then Feed it ! you can start them as early as 4 months ( Google it ) Never feed your baby anything less then the best – it’s your responsibility to start your offspring off on the right foot, Don’t be Lazy ! you’ll get into a rhythm after a few sessions it’s quick and easy – In the video we’re serving fresh Organic Apples ( boiled until soft ) Mixed with Iron fortified Oatmeal cereal and filtered water. all USDA Organic and made just minutes before serving with a food processor. . be advised that Microwaves are dangerous, I would avoid them at all costs, ( Googe that too ) I would never freeze your baby food either, as specially in plastic containers yuk. lots of love ! isn’t my daughter beautiful OMG. help humanity ! make healthy babies ! it’s not really that much more expensive to buy USDA organic – and when you do, your promoting it’s existence and effectively making it more available by creating a market for it. Question: My dad’s side of the family keeps giving the baby’s “taste of food” (am I begin too senstive)?
I wouldn’t let them do this with any of my children. I would watch them like hawks. But my cousin had a baby he was 2 months Early and weighed 2.3 lbs (he was born Sept 15 and was in the NICU till Oct. 25) and as soon as he got them they were giving him adult food. At thanksgiving they gave him Gravy, Yams, Whip Cream, and God knows what else. They think its good. I have a problem giving a preemie adult food.
My sister is due in July and doesn’t want them to do it with her kid but they said they will do it when she’s not looking.
This is my dad’s side of the family. My mom’s would never feed them anything that the parents didn’t say was ok.
What should I tell her to do? Am I beginning over sensitive?
She’s 17 and lives in a 5th Wheel at my dad’s. I’m trying to get her to move back in with my mother. So there won’t be an oppertuninty. My step-mother agrees with me.

If it were me, I would say that I won’t allow the child with them unsupervised (which would mean in a sling attached to me) because they can’t respect my rule of no solids whatsoever until 6 months.
Question: Parents: Should we cut down my 7 month old baby’s bottle(formula) intake?
We began feeding him solid(gerber)food, and my wife says that we should cut down the formula because it maybe too much for him now that he’s eating food.
I told her that we should give as needed. I don’t want to deprive my son with milk because of food. I believe that the “formula” is design to give every babies the nutrients they need as they grow.
My baby consumes about 4 to 5 bottles(6oz) a day. The 5th bottle is usually given when he wakes up in the middle of the night hungry.

The baby needs AT LEAST 24 oz of formula everyday & more on hot days (plus a little water if he will drink it) any food he wants after he gets the 24 oz is fine. Formula is the main source of nutrition & its important he get the 24 oz till he is 12 months old. Solids are not important till closer to one year old.
If he is getting 4 – 5 six oz bottles, I would not cut back. That is 24-30 oz per day. Thats perfect !
Question: what is your baby’s favorite “baby food”?
my 8 month old LOVES green beans .. not heated, but cold right out of the jar. hates the sweet stuff (peaches, etc) interesting…

Well my son doesn’t eat baby food, but I’ll answer anyway.
His favorite food(s!) right now seems to be blueberries, bananas, and nectarines. He also loves chicken, peas and cavatini. Not much of a picky eater here!
