Q. Why does it always say my session is expired?
A. OurBabyWeb.com uses "cookies". Cookies are small pieces of information that our server gives to your web browser to identify what you are trying to view.
Your browser must have cookies enabled for you to use OurBabyWeb.com services.
The only cookie we send to your browser is your session ID so that we may display the proper membership information.
Please consult your browser's help on how to enable accepting cookies.
Q. When I click a small picture nothing happens, where are the big pictures?
A. To view the pictures you must have Javascript enabled on your web browser. Javascript allows us to open a small separate window
to display the big pictures. Please consult your browser's help on how to enable Javascript.

Q. What format of pictures does OurBabyWeb.com support?
A. We currently support only the .jpg (jpeg) image format.
This format is one of the most widely used formats on the internet today.
Q. How can I get pictures in .jpg format?
A. All image and scanning software should allow you to save in this format. Try looking for File->Save As... in the menu.
Q. How can I get normal photographs in .jpg format?
A. You don't need a scanner or a digital camera to get your pictures in .jpg format.
Most film developing stores can develop your film directly into .jpg format and give it to you on a CDROM.
You can upload photo's to OurBabyWeb.com directly from the CDROM.
Q. I tried to upload my picture but it didn't work, why?
A. OurBabyWeb.com image uploads are limited to a file size of 2MB. If an image is larger it will just be ignored.
Try using image software to reduce the size of your image.
Q. Why are my images smaller after I upload them to my baby website?
A. OurBabyWeb.com server automatically resizes baby pictures that are too large to display nicely with our templates.
We also resample the image to provide the optimal compression rate so that your images load faster for loved ones to view.

Q. Can I extend my membership for more than 6 months?
A. You can extend your membership in 6 month increments at a fraction of the price of a new membership. Click Here to extend your membership.
There is no limit to how many times you may extend your membership, OurBabyWeb.com is a great way to keep current photo's of your child
for family far away to see.
Q. Why can I not get to my baby website directly?
A. If you have a full membership you can! Just use http://www.ourbabyweb.com/your_username to go directly to your baby website.

Q. At the end of my membership I was emailed my baby website. Why can I not add to the guestbook?
A. To add to the guestbook a program is needed to add the entry. This program is on the OurBabyWeb.com server and cannot run on your computer.
The website emailed to you is a "snapshot" for you to keep and share with your baby when they grow older.
Q. Someone put something in our gestbook that we don't like, how can we remove it?
A. In the member area for your guestbook, there is a link to edit your guestbook entries OR Email our webmaster your username and information on the entry you wish removed.
We will remove it ASAP!
